Kenny Allen memorial at Doune hill climb went well and my second visit. On saturday morning my first practice run i set a time of 70.67 followed by 68.74 then a PB of 67.50. In the afternoon there was a little rain and some little dam patches on the track. But first event run i set 70.28 followed by a 69.30.

Sunday was a bit more of a challenge not only was there rain the Ford Angelia on it’s second run (our first) decided it’s engine oil would be better outside the engine than inside spreading it on the last bend all the way to top paddock, even after treated the section of the track remained slippy. First practice run i set 74.10 followed by 71.66. First event time of 68:56, after lunch we managed 2 event runs with times of 71.94 and 69.20.

Thanks to Nicky my wife and Alan Chester and friends for there support during the day.

Thanks to Lothian Car club and the Marshall’s for a well organised event.

Cant wait till the next one. 🙂
