I thought would be a good idea to strip the E13 down give it a freshen up and new head gaskets and some other new parts.

first up was to remove all the manifolds alternator and timing belt cover.

Next i removed the cylinder head and cleaned up the pistons.

Sump was removed cleaned out painted and then Block was cleaned up and painted in black to match oem colour

While i was doing that i sent the cylinder head off to be skimmed Once it was returned i reseated the valves and gave it port and polishing then refitted it to the block along with the water pump.
