After the meet in the 2018 the GT was used only for a few more weeks then it was locked away. So where is it now you may ask? Lets got and find out.

I never got much time to use the GT in 2019. Then COVID hit and everyone knows what a shit show that was.
In 2021 I started building a hill climb car to compete at Doune hill climb (more on this soon)
If you remember from the last post I spoke about the yearly NPOC meet. It happened I had a free weekend for that meet which started on the 22nd August 2024. I decide it would be a nice surprise if the Phoenix was there. I spoke with good friend G and found out the hotel he was staying in and booked it.
Then I had to go check the GT, get it MOT’ed etc. First thing will the car start well lets go find out

I moved the car out of the garage locked the garage up and took it home for a wash.

MOT was booked for the next morning a week before the event.

The GT passed it’s MOT with no advisories. I used the GT for the week before the meet week and found a bit of a shudder at speed. I replaced the 4 tyres which was the issue. I went to the meet with no issues and the suprise went down as i thought it would.
