This is the story of my 1998 Nissan Primera GT’s (nicknamed the Phoenix) body restoration.
Back in september 2015 the Phoenix (Primera GT) was dropped off at a body shop were i would be doing the body preperation my self.
It was a couple weeks before i could get back up to start work on the car. First of all i needed to check all the panels on the car and what i had in stock as i planned on using the best of them all. On the same visit i started removed side skirts, corner lamps etc.
That done i noted the panels i planned on using. This comprised of both front wings from the silver GT, front bumper, left hand door and both right hand doors.
Over the coming weeks i took panels back and forth so that i didn’t clog up the workshop.
First panels were the right hand front door and wing
it was a couple weeks before i could get back over but when i did i fitted the left hand wing and front bumper
It was a few months later i managed to get back over to fit the left hand side doors. First off thought i moved the car out and gave it a wash as it was really thick with dust.
