The Heart (engine) A nissan Primera GT SR20DEH.

A donor engine was found for the build sadly it had been ran with low or no oil but it wasn’t a big issue as it was getting fully rebuilt anyway

The block was bored out to take the max size of piston it would allow, Taking a 89mm pistons pushing the CC from 1998 up to 2045cc. Wiseco Forged pistons where used with new rings and Eagle Rods. Oil squirters from a S14 where also machined into the block alloing cooling for underside of pistons.
The 8 Counter Weight Crank was machined and over sized shells sourced and fitted. the Griddle from an Earlier SR20DE was fitted using ARP bolts. The sump also had to be used from the earlier engine to allow clearance of the griddle.
For oil supply a SR20VE N1 front cover and pump was fitted for a higher oil pressure.
The head was skimmed, valves reseated and cleaning of ports but no porting done. Engine was built using a OEM gasket set with the exception of the head gasket. A cometic metal gasket was used.
